Our Story
al volo was born from the encounter of two different but complementary paths.
Elena Cicconetti built her career at Google, working at the intersection of people, communication and business. She carries with her the rhythm of international environments and the precision of data-driven work, but also a deep passion for creating connections between people, cultures and ideas.
Alessandro Angeleri trained in food and wine, becoming a manager and sommelier at the renowned Angelina in London. He grew up surrounded by the craft of Italian cuisine and hospitality, learning that true quality is found in details: how you choose an ingredient, how you welcome a guest, how you balance a plate.
Together, they envisioned a place that did not yet exist in the City of London: a grab and go that was not generic or rushed, but carried the depth of Italian tradition into a format fit for modern city life.
